GENERAL EVENT QUESTIONS:
Can I bring along a companion?
Companions are not invited to attend the event. If companion is
Travel Agent and has a valid ID, they are welcome to attend.
In
the case that an Agent does bring a companion who is not a qualified
Agent, they will be required to register under the “Single” room
option, and their companion will not be invited to any business or
social functions. Also, the companion will not qualify for any
special airline discounts.
Are meals included? Yes,
some meals are included (REFER TO SCHEDULE OF EVENTS).
Most meals are included.
What type of seminars will we have?
We will have a half day of Destination and Product Presentations on
Ecuador covering the four regions of the country: Amazon, Andes,
Galapagos, and Pacific Coast.
When and where will the seminars take place?
Seminars will take place Thursday morning – May 21
- in Quito at the Convention Center. (REFER
TO SCHEDULE OF EVENTS)
When will we have a chance to meet Suppliers?
Agents will have the opportunity to meet Suppliers during the
Exposition on Friday afternoon - May 21 at the Convention Center in
Quito.
Agents will have a list of pre-scheduled appointments to follow
during the Exposition. The Expo will last from 2:15pm to 6pm. Agents
will also be able to “mingle” with Suppliers during Social events
like the Welcome Reception and Breakfast/Lunch.
How are the Travel Agent appointments scheduled?
We run a schedule of appointments for each Agent based on the
Marketing Profile they submit in the registration. A copy of each
Agents schedule of appointments will be available in their on-site
package.
Do I need a Passport and/or VISA?
Passport/VISA requirements differ for each nationality. All
travelers will need a Passport for travel to Ecuador. For VISA
Requirements, please contact your nearest Ecuador Embassy
representative. Delegates are responsible to find out about their
requirements needed for travel. USA Citizens do not need a VISA to
travel to Ecuador.
What Hotels will we visit during Hotel Site
Inspections on this even? Any hotels
who are hosting delegates in the cities of Quito, Cuenca, and
Guayaquil.
What are the airport departure taxes? Guayaquil departure taxes
are around $30 USD. Quito departure taxes are around $48 USD.

AIRLINE QUESTIONS:
Is air included? Air is
not included in the price of registration.
How much airfare? We are
working with American Airlines, LAN Ecuador, Aerogal, COPA and TACA Airlines on
discounts. The Airline
discounts are posted online under the link “Airline Information.”
This document will be updated as we receive more details.
(NOTE: We
are unable to provide delegates a price for air since it varies
depending on the airline and destination they are traveling from.
Under the airline discount details, each airline will provide a
contact number for Agents to call to request a discount, and ask
specific questions.)
Will I be able to travel before or after the event
(for whatever reason it any be)? All
airlines will have a “travel window” to allow for travel usually 4-5
days before and after the event to allow delegates to do pre or post
tours. Every airline is usually different in what they offer.

HOTEL QUESTIONS:
What hotel nights are included?
The nights of May 16 and 17 in Guayaquil, May 18 and 19 in Cuenca, and May
20
and 21 in Quito are included in your
registration. The room is a double room, so we will have two agents
to each room.
Can I get a single room?
In the case that an Agent wants a single room, they must pay $350
instead of $195 to have a single room. (If they attended the Meet
Ecuador event, the single option is $250 instead of $125).
Are hotel taxes included?
Taxes and incidentals are not included and must be paid upon Check
out if applicable. (REFER TO HOTEL INFORMATION)
What hotel will we be staying at?
Hotels are assigned after registration and payment are received. We
cannot guarantee any hotel. The hotels being used will be
posted online soon. (REFER TO HOTEL
INFORMATION)
What is the Host Hotel?
There is no official Host Hotel.
We will advise delegates what will be the location for credentials
pick up in Guayaquil, and the Seminars/Exposition will take place at the
convention Center in Quito.
How far are the Hotels to the airport?
The airport is about 25-30 minutes away from the hotels. Delegates
can contact their respective hotel for more information. (REFER TO
HOTEL INFORMATION)

TOUR QUESTIONS:
Are there any pre or post tours?
Pre and post tours are available. Details are posted online under
the link “Pre and Post Tour Information.”
How do I sign up for a tour?
All tours are handled directly by the Supplier. We do not get in
the middle of reservations or payment for tours. Tour providers
have provided us a Description, Price, and Contact Details for
Agents to contact them directly. Delegates will usually have to
contact them in Quito, and we always suggest by Email to avoid

GROUND TRANSPORTATION QUESTIONS:
How do I get to the hotel when I arrive?
Complimentary airport transfers will be provided on the Official
Arrival Days of May 15 and 16 in Guayaquil and Official Departure Days of
May 22 and 23 in Quito.
Delegates will need to submit their arrival information including
name of delegate, airline, flight number, and time of arrival to WHC,
Inc. no later than 10 days prior to the event. A transportation
form will be available online in March for delegates to submit
their arrival details. For return airport transfers on May 22 and 23,
delegates will be able to fill out a form on-site with their

How can I get a transfer if I am not
arriving/departing on the Official days?
Delegates not arriving/departing on the above dates are on
their own for transfers. We recommend they contact their assigned
hotel (REFER to HOTEL INFORMATION) about getting recommendation
about taxi or if Hotel Shuttle is available.
How do I get to event functions?
Transportation will be provided from all Host Hotels to any event
function going on.
